Irina Tudorache

As a designer, Irina approaches every project as an opportunity to problem-solve and learn something new.

  • I'm from  Constanta, Romania

  • My education  Bachelor of Arts, The University of Manchester & The Manchester Metropolitan University,
Master of Architecture, The University of Greenwich

  • Why PCA?  PCA invests and cares about the overall wellness of its employees and it has a varied portfolio, which is very good exposure at this point in my career.

  • My earliest architectural memory  Drawing our apartment's floor plan and drawing a detailed axonometry of a house in context. Plus playing hacked (for the limitless funds) SIMS and constructing super expensive and cool houses.

  • Describe your favorite space  Ideally, It would be a space where form follows function, a narrative space containing maze-like spaces which has a great level of human comfort, but also plays with ones senses, it is self-sustainable and most importantly it is filled with dear ones.

  • Materials that excite me  Materials that age beautifully, wrought iron, perforated panels and growing organic materials.

  • On Saturday mornings, you can usually find me  doing nothing.

  • Cats or dogs?  Dogs

  • Coffee or tea?  Tea

  • I’m my best self when  people around me are relatively well-balanced and happy.

  • A volunteering cause I support  the investment in children, kids, younger generations. They are the only ones capable of change. They have the ability to create a better world if they are formed and educated properly. Over the years, I have participated in a variety of events at children adaption centers and personally raised money to fund and organize a summer beach event for an Urgent Center that receives children in the foster system.
