Judith Salvi

Judith is a combination of “blue suit” seriousness sprinkled with humor and a quest for the ethereal receipt. Since 1994, she has managed PCA’s internal operations, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our busy design firm.

  • I’m from  Cambridge, MA.

  • My education  Boston University; Harvard

  • Why PCA?  I've worked for many years in the design field; when I arrived at PCA over 25 years ago, I realized this was different and a good place for me.

  • My favorite space  A park by the ocean in Santa Barbara

  • A place that has affected me  The Getty Museum in Los Angeles

  • I’m inspired by  President Obama, the late and great John Lewis, and conversations with friends.

  • The nerdiest thing I do in my spare time  I'm not sure it's necessarily nerdy, but just about every evening, I do crossword puzzles.

  • On my playlist  Such a mix — Marvin Gaye, BB King, Philip Sheppard, Frank Sinatra — I could go on...

  • Quote that guides me right now  "Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul." ~ John Muir

  • If I could snap my fingers and become an expert in something, I would  love to be able to play the piano.

  • The craziest thing I’ve ever done  Purchased an apartment in Phoenix in the dead of night, barely being able to see it

  • My personal motto  Try to be your best self.
