  • I’m from  Alexandria, Egypt.

  • My education  I have my Bachelor of Science in architecture from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University and currently, I am pursuing my Master of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural College.

  • Why PCA?  PCA has a distinguished diverse portfolio which is essential to gain extensive experience in various types of projects. Also, PCA has a great culture with professional and friendly team members that make you feel comfortable with an excellent work-life balance.

  • I’m drawn to design because  it gives you the power to transfer your passion and feelings into reality.

  • A project I’m proud of is  Jubail Island Development, where I was part of the architectural team who worked on this project which is considered as one of the largest ongoing projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

  • What building or place do you wish you designed, why?  The Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi, UAE by Jean Nouvel. With its unique and huge silver dome that is made of 10000 pre-assembled components, and weighs 7500 tons, the Louvre is as heavy as the Eiffel Tower. This heavy structure sits on 4 piers placed 110 meters from each other, yet, they are hidden in plain sight so the dome appears to be floating. A true architectural masterpiece.

  • What's the most inspiring part of your job?  How humans interact with the architecture is what makes it so exciting.

  • On Saturday mornings, you can usually find me  If I am not watching soccer games with my son, I'll probably be at the gym.

  • Coffee or tea?  Soda

  • SketchUp or Revit?  Revit, the future is here.

  • On my playlist:  Paint It, Black by Ciara

  • If you were a pantone swatch, what color would you be?  PMS Black 6 C

  • If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?  Skydiving.

  • What would be your personal motto?  The pain you feel today is the strength you will feel tomorrow.

  • My best vacation  When I travel back to Egypt to be with my family.
