Why PCA? What drew me to PCA was the great office culture and the emphasis on mentorship. I also felt inspired by the thoughtful and diverse array of work the firm produces!

My earliest architectural design memory was probably when I was around 2 or 3. My mom worked at a hospital that had a large model of the hospital and grounds. I remember every time I came to visit her during work, she would lift me up so I could see it!

I’m drawn to design because I have always found it to be this intricate puzzle that balances a wide variety of factors to create these beautiful, complex spaces. I love learning the different meanings behind a design and how the designer worked to delicately balance the different needs and desires of the space.

My favorite aspect of working with clients is Coming from school, working with a client makes a project so much more personal. I love to see client's reactions to different designs and hearing how excited they are about the project and future of the space.

What's the most inspiring part of your job? The most inspiring part of my job is that I have the opportunity to aid in creating spaces that will make a positive impact on people's lives and the environment. The spaces we spend our time in can have a huge impact on our experience and memories, and it is so exciting that I get to have hand in shaping that.
-
What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? I really enjoy labeling and organizing things. My roommate in college used to joke that I would "stress label" after deadlines; having so much free time and not knowing what to do with myself, I would always find something to organize!
-
Cats or dogs? I love and have both, but dogs would have to be my favorite! I have a mini Aussie named Lani whom I absolutely adore!
-
Coffee or tea? For sure tea! I love London Fogs, and Chai lattes. I only go for coffee if I really need the energy boost.
-
SketchUp or Revit? I would have to say Revit, but probably because that is where I have more experience. Sketchup and I battle some days, but I win most of the time. : )

One thing most people don’t know about you I did a variety of sports growing up, one of them being figure skating. It has been a while, but I still like to spin when I go!
