  • I’m from  outside Philadelphia.

  • My education  B.Arch, Cornell University

  • Community service  I volunteered for Horizons for Children for 7-1/2 years and annually organize a group to participate in the Charles River Clean Up.

  • My earliest design memory  I took a summer college course and our first assignment was to build a model out of chipboard. Someone in the class asked what that was. Little did I know I'd become great friends with chipboard over the following six years.

  • I’m drawn to design because  I enjoy the creativity and problem solving it requires.

  • A project I’m proud of  I worked on a day habilitation center for people who have physical and mental disabilities. It was one of the first projects that I helped manage and was done on a fast-track schedule requiring a close working relationship with the client and contractor.

  • I’m excited about building technology that is  sustainable, helps the environment and keeps building occupants comfortable.

  • On Saturday mornings, you can usually find me  playing with my kids.

  • The nerdiest thing I do in my spare time is  make lots of photo books.
