  • Why PCA?  PCA’s projects show that community happens beyond building design both in the work and within the firm’s culture.

  • I’m drawn to design because  our work is truly a way to be directly involved in how people interact with one another, and we can directly influence the spaces they use to make them more humane.

  • A space/place that has affected me is  Traveling through JFK as a kid and seeing the TWA terminal from a distance, it seemed like something so unreachable until a couple of years ago, when it reopened and I was able to explore the "time capsule" from within instead of standing outside looking in.

  • Materials that excite me are  Concrete because of its ability to be shaped into various forms, almost making it endless in possibilities.

  • I love Cambridge because  there's always something to explore and you're surrounded by a tight knit community that celebrates different cultures.

  • I’m influenced by  architects like Francis Kere or Sharon Davis.

  • I’m inspired by  projects that have a community aspect.

  • On Saturday mornings, you can usually find me  on a waterfront run or at outdoor yoga!

  • Cats or dogs?  Dogs

  • Coffee or tea?  Coffee: "[Noemi] runs on coffee"

  • The craziest thing I’ve ever done is  bike 400 miles to Montreal with a group of 40 other people while camping out in between the days.

  • The most fulfilling thing I've done is  volunteering in Indonesia and being able to live there for a month and a half with a local organization. It was a time when I wanted to be inspired by another culture in architecture that wasn't my day to day experience.

  • My favorite creative endeavor  Painting!

  • My best vacation  Getting to explore the Dominican Republic within the lens of architecture and exploring different towns.
