PCA has done all of our dining renovations since 1998. They are outstanding! Every member of their team is very creative, responsive and wonderful to work with. They have great insight into many segments of the foodservice industry including restaurants and college/university dining.

Maureen Timmons, Director of Dining Services, Northeastern University

Northeastern’s Curry Dining Center is located at the heart of its large urban campus in Boston. As part of the main Student Center, the complex operates as a venue for special events, student services, dining and student activities creating a place where things happen.

PCA’s design renovated the ground floor dining area with a contemporary urban aesthetic and added a 3,000 SF suspended glass mezzanine with 193 seats. The “floating” mezzanine, accessed by a glass stair, links dining and student center functions, creating vibrant flow-through circulation and gathering places for commuter and resident students.

The space allows the university to artfully display its brand identity and showcase fresh new food offerings – including Northeastern’s own branded food concepts, popular local operators, and national vendors – in an integrated way. Varying ceiling heights and choice of seating from counters to lounge chairs provide a range of social options elevating the “eat, study, gather” experience for the entire university community.
